TASTE TEST: Breakfast Burritos

I love breakfast and I love burritos...why not combine the two? If you're like me and share my my same love of breakfast and burritos then read on! This recipe is a lot simpler than I thought it would be. All you need is your choice of breakfast meet, two eggs, shredded cheese, green and red peppers, and a burrito sized tortilla. First you cook your meet, I chose pork sausage. Once cooked then chop or dice the meat. If you use bacon strips just cut it up. Chop up your veggies. Next scramble your eggs how you like them, I like them scrambled hard with cheese. Add cheese to your eggs, unless your normally do, and then sauté your veggies while the skillet is still hot with a pinch of cooking oil or butter. Now you'll combine all your ingredients on one half of your tortilla and then wrap it. Wrapping a burrito can be kind of tricky, but there's no real science to it. I like to fold the bottoms in and the fold in the sides. After you've wrapped it place in the oven on 350 for about five minutes to let the tortilla harden just slightly and for all the ingredients to melt together under the cheese. Then enjoy! It takes about thirty minutes all together.
